Worth the wait:)

Happy Sunday everyone:)

This week has been full of great conversations for me and I wanted to share with you a little on how I've been so encouraged and blessed this last week. For all you girls out there I'm sure you can all admit that talking about relationships is one of our key conversation topics. So on Wednesday I was having dinner with my really good friend Nicky and of course we started talking about relationships and how there's always going to be that annoying thing that the other person does in your mind. Of course your gonna get mad or frustrated but what it all boils down to is can you live with it. That's how you know he's the one. Even today at church the pastor mentioned that he definitely does things that are annoying, but his wife accepts him and loves him no matter what.

I then started thinking, wow there's a lot of things that I do that are so annoying that I annoy myself........... WOW!!!!!!!!! I don't have enough time or space to list them all:) LOL......

Then a couple of days ago I heard this song called "She's Everything" By Brad Paisley. It's one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard and I have it on repeat right now:) He mentions that his wife is a "fighter when she's mad, Now and then she's moody" (sound like someone I know, hmmmmm), but then he goes on how "she's the answer to his prayers, she's everything I need, every day that passes I only love her more, (and my favorite) she the one I'd lay down my whole life for".

Then to top it off I had another friend write me who just got married and whom I had the honor to be the photographer at her wedding:) I actually did'n't know Ronee before she hired me but I have gotten to know her since then and Ronee is amazing and I'm blessed to call her my friend:) I wrote her and asked how married life was going and she wrote me the sweetest letter and told me how she had to wait a long time to find the man of her dreams. Yes I'm sure there were times when she was frustrated but she said he was totally worth the wait. She ended her letter by saying don't get impatient and not to settle for less because the person that God has planned for me is going to love me inside and out. I was so encouraged and I hope I can encourage all you other single girls out there that he's worth the wait:)

I'm so blessed to know all these amazing couple who are married because I have learned so much from all of you. You all are definitely a role model and I thank you for sharing and being so open about your marriages:)

Love Amy

Amy, that is soooo true! I am still waiting on mine. If it's in God's plans he will send me someone, but for now I am enjoying life, and all my wonderful friends. Loved your entry today! Very well said :)

I'm sure you'll make some guy the happiest guy on earth someday but you're right it's worth the wait.

I just read your "can't sleep" post and I was wondering how it's going and if you were trying to organize a photo-fit-club to your schedule??? Are you gonna tour the country with your training sessions?

All this talk about getting fit makes me feel fat...... I'm going to the gym.
