Don't Blink
Wow, last week was one of the most amazing weeks I've ever had. My really good friends Missy and Gary got married and everything about their wedding was amazing and so beautiful. When Gary aksed me to be a Groomsmen/women I was honored. Gary is one of my closest friends and I talk to him almost every day. He totally makes me laugh and I have learned so much from him. It was so cute because right before the ceremony started, Gary hugged me, Janey, Dj, and Dennis (all his groomsmen) and said we were his best friends. I know we all felt the same. Missy was the most beautiful bride. So calm and collected and very stunning. As she walked down the isle, Gary totally lost it. Tears of joy came pouring down his face, it was one of the most beautiful moments I have ever seen.
So many memories were made. It was a four day extravaganza, but man time flew. It was like we blinked and the wedding was over. But what's so great is how their lives together have just started and they have so many more memories to make together.
Gary and Melissa you two are amazing and I love you both so very much. I'm very thankful to have you in my life and I can't wait for you to have kids:) hehe:)
So yesterday as I was driving this amazing song started playing on the radio and it's called "Don't Blink". Right now I can say that it's one of my all time favorite songs. Listen to the words and watch the music video it will totally make you think and maybe even make you cry. After listening to the song It made me realize that life does go faster then you think. Seriously I blinked and the next thing I knew I was 24:)

P.S. I didn't take one picture while I was there. Jessica Claire was the official photographer so I knew she would take tons of amazing photographs. Ok so this wedding was gorgeous and looked like so much fun. Again I wish I could've been there. I really need to come out for some of these occasions. I feel like I'm missing so much. Jessica did a splendid job on the photos and all ya'll looked so nice all duded up. Gary and MIssy are just adorable and beautiful people. I almost cried when I saw the video of Gary balling as Melissa came walking down the isle. Priceless.
Looks like you had fun (but how could you not with all the cool people there) ;-)

I heard that song once on the radio a couple weeks ago and it did make me cry... and then I followed the link you posted to the video and I cried again. It's such a powerful message... We can't slow time down, so what can we do? Try to take in everything around us...that's what I tell brides on their wedding day... "When you're up there at the alter, take a few breaths and look around, because it happens so fast..."
Life goes so scary fast..
