Shooting with Mary Jane:)

Ok so one of my favorite things to do is photograph a wedding with Mary Jane. We always have sooooo much fun together that the thought of shooting a wedding without her always bums me out. So on Saturday Jen Santos and myself assisted Mary Jane in Santa Monica. The bride was amazing and she had so much energy, which we loved. It actually started to rain right before her cermony, but that didn't matter to her for she still wanted to get married on the beach. Thanks goodness it stopped seconds to her walking down. Here are a few images:)

The most amazing family:)

Today I had the privilege to photograph Todd, Elisa, and their adorable little boy Keifer:) I don't think I stopped smiling the whole time that I was shooting. They were also the easiest family to photograph, because everything came natural to them and I didn't have to pose them at all. Todd is such a good guy and you can tell that his family means the world to him. Elisa has to be the sweetest person I have ever met, and I so wish she lived closer. Keifer, is the cutest little boy EVER with so much life in him. When I have kids I hope they are half as cute as little Keifer:) Here are a couple images from today.......

So Encouraging:)

You know how sometimes in life you have your moments where encouragement is definitely needed, well that was my week last week:( But the Lord is good and I have definitely been encouraged through Him. Anyways, I went to Brooks last night to listen to a guest speaker, by the name of Arthur Renvill. Arthur Renville is an amazing speaker who can make you laugh and cry. he he!!! Anyways, he is full of wisdom and I was totally inspired. Here are some of his amazing one liners that made me stop and think a while.

"It's not about your destination it's about your great journey."

"Every moment in our lives happens for a reason, you have to deal with it and run with it."

"It's what's in your heart and spins in your head that makes a difference."

Loving the Borders

Here are a couple more borders that I promised I would put up. I'm excited because tomorrow I am going to use the borders on one of the albums that I am designing:) Waaaahooooo!!!! Yep I am a dork. Atleast I am easily entertained:)

Showit Borders:)

So today I got to do three things that I really love to do, and that is Play on the computer, pick up my camera, and swing dance. he he!!!! So first of all, I have started up swing dancing again with Janey. We are having a blast and this week I went to two lessons and one actual swing dance. I was invited to go to a another swing band tonight but I had to get some work done so I had to say no:( However I had a blast playing with the new program that David Jay came out with called Showit Borders. I am in LOVE with the program, which I knew I would be:) I used the borders on the three of the images that I photographed of my friend (roommate) Luna. She needed some head shots so I took her to the court house which is perfect for head shots, we had a blast like always:) The first border on the left is Polaroid D, the middle is Polaroid A, and the last one is Polaroid B. Yep I tried all the polaroid borders. Stay tuned for tomorrows borders:)

WPPI Here We Come

So yesterday Janey and I finally booked our Tickets for WPPI. For us I would say we actually procrastinated on purchasing our tickets:) he he. However I know tons of people who haven't booked their tickets yet so I would encourage you to do so this week. Our SB flight was almost full, but believe it or not to fly out of SB it was only $148, which was pretty cheap:) - it was meant to be!!!!

I can't stop thinking about the great time that we are all going to have. I was even thinking about it when I was doing Pilates and running today. Can't get it out of my mind. All the fun dinners, lunches, early morning runs, and morning coffees, not to mention our pool side chats. Oh ya and the great seminars:) Did I mention that I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

My Dad - my hero:)

So we celebrated my Dad's birthday on Sunday. I thought he was turning 40, but that didn't make sense:) he he, ooops!!!!! Anyways he looks great for his age.

Anyways, he is the most amazing guy ever!!!! One thing that I admire in him is how great he is to me, my sister, and my mom. He has set the standards high on how girls should be treated. Wow I have been blessed:)

Saving Lives Changing the World -

This morning when I woke up I was so surprised to see this short Video Clip that David Jay made for Thirst Relief International. It is a project that he's invlolved in with Mike Colon. They captured/documented all these villages that are in need of purified water. Their water is so poluted. Can you imagine not being able to grab a drink of water whenever you wanted. I can't even imagine, I mean I am constantly drinking water and then complain when I have to drink the Santa Barbara water because it taste funny. But for everyone else in Brazil, it is a life or death situation.

Anyways, I was so blown away when I saw this amazing video cliip. I can't wait to see more at WPPI. So for those who are still on the fence about going, this clip should make you want to go even more:) Until then if you are interested in bringing water to a family, you can go here. I still can't believe that it only cost $50 to support and save lives. WOW!

Thanks you guys for sharing this with all of us and I can't wait to see the rest at WPPI!!!!!

Love of her life:)

So yesterday I had the oppertunity to photograph Marie (one of my best friends) and the love of her life. I lived with Marie for two years while attending Brooks and I always remember her saying that she never thought she was going to get married and if by chance she happened to meet someone then she would just get married in Vegas. I would always joke with her and say "hey that's fine just give me a 24 hour notice and I will be there":) Well now she is talking about having 200 guests when she gets married. I am sooooo happy for her, for she has met an amazing guy who treats her like a princess. SHe is so happy and it just made my day to see her filled with so much joy:) I was smiling the whole time that i was with them, they truly are an incredible couple who I love dearly. Here are a couple images. Also a big hug and thank you to Janey who video taped the whole thing for me. Girl you are amazing and I don't know what I would do without you:) Love ya!!!!
