"The beginning of the rest of your lives"

So I just got back from shooting a wedding with Mary Jane. I love assisting Janey because we are always laughing so hard at events that our happening, ourselves, or who knows what:) Well with this wedding we serisouly had the most glamourous bride. You just couldn't take a bad picture of her, which made our job super easy:) She was also a very laid back bride, which was an added bonus:)

The kids were absolutely adorable. The little boy in the hat was our little buddy. He kept following us around because he loved getting his picture taken. I have like five series of him. LOL


I'll post more tomorrow but I need to finish an album and go to bed so that I don't fall asleep in church tomorrow:) Night all!!!!

What an amazing family!!!!!

So yesterday I assisted Janey on a family formal. Ususally family formals are my least favorite things to shoot, but this family was nice, thoughtful, funny and down to earth. I was laughing the whole time. Anyways, I love this shot because Janey was on the balcony making everyone laugh. What a character she is:) hehe..... I love shooting with her because she always have the nicest families and couples. Can't wait for next weekend!!!!!!!

New Baby Girl who is gorgeous beyond words:)

It was weird when my friends started getting married before me, but now they are all having babies. WOW!!!!! Anyways......
My friend Amy had her beautiful baby girl a few days ago, so yesterday I went to the hospital so see her. Her baby is absolutely perfect:) I am soooo excited for Amy for I know she is going to be the best mom:) I can't wait to take the baby pics which we are going to do as soon as she gets home safe and sound:)


P.S. I want four kids, but after hearing what Amy went through I may want to rethink that.... LOL.......

Janey and Kristen are sooooo amazing and I always have a blast when I hang with them. We went to California Pizza Kitchen for dinner and then we went swing dancing at the Carillo Recreation Center, where we danced our hearts out. Seriously I could dance every day all day long. hehe.... Ok maybe not that much, but any ways it was so fun hanging with you girls and I can't wait for next time.......

Album Slideshows

A couple people have been asking to see my album slideshows so here are a couple. The first one is a flushmount album and the last one is a matted. Flushmount albums are definitely more fun to design, but matted albums are just sooooo classy. If I was a bride I would want one of each.. hehe!!!!

Ok so I need your help on a logo....... Here are the three logos that I am working with. I still need to play around with the logos, but which one do you like the most?

I should probably just close the computer and work on it tomorrow. He he!!!! What an amazing day I had today..... More tomorrow.

An evening out:)

SO this last weekend I went home to spend Easter with my family. It was the first year that my sister Mandy wasn't there to help me cook and clean (LOL) so I was bummed:) Anyways, I had a great time with my parents and dinner was great!!!!!!

I forgot to take pictures on Easter, probably because I was busy cooking and cleaning, but I did take a picture on Saturday evening. My parents took me to an extremely nice dinner that was held in Fullerton by an organization called Pacific Justice Institute. Pacific Justice is a Christian organization that defends our constitutional rights to religious freedom. It is an amazing organization and I was definitely encouraged.

So one thing I love to do is take pictures of Janey while it's in video mode, without her knowing of course. The funny thing about this is she thinks I am going to take a quick picture. I always say ok Janey "one, two, three, haha it's in video mode". I did this to here several times while in Vegas. It's hilarious, just watch.

Miss you all!!!!!

Well I am back in Beautiful Santa Barbara, but man I miss you all!!!!!!!!! I am extremely tired and need to go to bed but I wanted to say that I miss you all soooooo very much!!!!!!! I can't even begin to describe the amazing time that I had. Lets just say I am having withdraws:) hehe!!!!!

An Update on what's going on at WPPI:)

All I can say is WOW!!!!!! SO many amazing things have been going on at WPPI. I am exhausted and can hardly keep my eyes open. I actually am calling it a night because I am soooooo tired and it's only 12:30 or so. So far it has been a whirl wind. I ran to my plane on Saturday to meet up with Janey. I almost didn't make my flight, but think heavens I did. We met up with friends and went to Mike Colons seminar, which was amazing. The next day I worked in Gary Fong's booth, which was a blast and then I got to hear him and Beckstead speak. They seriooously got me soooooo motivated and excited about my business again. Then I rushed over to see David Jay speak. It too was sooooooo amazing, and I can't even begin to tell you just how proud I was of him.



Lets see after that we have had an OSP Party, many amazing meals with friends and great parties. Tonight I had an amazing meal with Melissa, Gary, Amber, Nathan, and Janey. We all laughed sooooo much that my stomach hurts.
Tomorrow we will finally go dancing, but tonight I am getting some sleep. night:)

On Moday I decided to drive home and hang with my family:) I always have the best time when I am with them, and there is never a dull moment. For example, this afternoon I was having afternoon coffee with my mom and she starts yelling "oh my we have sheep in our front yard". It was hilarious, for we had hundreds of sheep in our front yard and they were eating the fruit trees. I think my mom wanted me to scare them away, but instead I grabbed my camera. hehe!!!

They were almost up to our door but by the time I had my camera it was too late:( .......next time:)

So tonight Shaun Austin, from LA Photo was in Santa Barbara with his wife Jamie. They were shooting an engagement session today and as soon as they were done they met me, David Jay, Janey, Tim, and Cheryl for dinner at this Thai restaurant. I was soooo excited because I actually remembered to bring my little point and shoot. I had a great time hanging out with everyone and I can't wait to do it again soon. I know I keep saying this but WPPI BABY, here we come:)

Ok I am off to bed. I have a pretty early morning. hehe!!!!!

Memories of when I was 16:)

When I was 16 I went on a mission trip to the Vanuatu Islands. I had a choice to either go on a drama team or a work team and of course I picked the work team:) It was such an amazing experience and some day I hope to go back. We bathed from buckets, slept in tents, made bricks, and built a church for two months. Anyways the reason why I bring this up is I randomly went to the Teen Missions International website tonight and I found a Picture of me with my mission team. Wow I couldn't believe they still had my team's picture up. Guess which one is me. You will never guess. This was during boot camp where we had to get up every morning at 5:00 to run an obstacle course. Lets just say I wasn't very pretty to look at:)
