YAY!!!!!! :)

Most of you know that I really love designing but as of recently it has become the new love of my life:) lol... I seriously wake up in the morning so excited to turn on my computer and start designing. Call me crazy:) I actually just finished an album for the Holritz's and I am working on one for Katherine Tolentino (will be done today), David Jay (done on friday), and Michael and Anna Costa (ready on saturday). Saturday evening and Sunday I am taking off completely. I'm super excited because my friend Curt is coming to visit me. He seriously is the male version of me. Talk about scary. It was so funny because recently we found out that we both started salsa dancing and we hadn't even talked about it. WEIRD:)

SB is wonderful, especially our PUG group:)

Tonight we had our pug meeting and it's exciting because I'm really starting to get to know some of the local photographers in the Santa Barbara area. Everone is so friendly, which makes the meetings even more enjoyable. Well tonight I talked about the amazing promotions that Pictage has planned for us this year. If you weren't able to make the meeting e-mail me and I'll e-mail you a handout that I made:) Something else we did is everyone wrote out what they'd like to hear about during the next pug meeting. We all wrote something down and we narrowed it down to two things, a shoot out and a potluck. It ended up being a tie. I voted for the potluck:) hehe. So I guess we'll do both. It was so funny because we were at David Jay's place talking about photography/Pictage/licenses, the whole shebang and a Bible study walked in. I guess DJ's place is the meeting grounds for everything:) It all worked out. I ended up taking our PUG group to Dargans for drinks and appetizers. Way to much fun:) Can't wait to see you guys soon!!!

I feel better:)

Most of you know how much I LOVE working out. Yes it not only keeps you young and healty but it actually helps with stress:) Yep, it sure does!!!! :) Workout four times a week for a month and you'll become addicted forsure and maybe even stress free;) wink wink.....

Today was a pretty crazy day and I didn't get to work out in the morning like I usually do so instead I went to the gym in the evening and I tried this new cardio machine. I think I started sweating because I was sooooo scared of falling. It definitely was very hard for me to relax because I kept looking down at every step I took. I kept praying that I wouldn't miss a step and fall five feet. Now I know why this machine is always available. They gotta have a hidden camera with people watching and laughing at me. I'm sure when I got off everyone said ok what idiot is going to get on it next:) lol... Here's a picture of the machine that I was on, however I think mine was a little bigger and taller.

Call me crazy but because it was such a challenge I think I'll try it again either tomorrow or Wednesday:) haha

Out of this world:)

Today I shot a wedding with Janey and this couple was out of this world amazing, beautiful, sweet, you name it. Because I was the second shooter I had never met the couple and the beginning of the day started out where Janey was with the girls and I had to drive over to the guys and take some "getting ready" pictures of the boys. At first I was a little hesitant of the idea because not knowing anyone definitely would stretch my whole "being in my comfort zone". However, the moment I got there the guys were so nice and from that moment on everything was amazing and perfect. What also made the day so perfect was Mike and Maria. They we're so into each other it was so cute. They we're beautiful on their own without us telling them to do anything. When Janey would direct them it was beautiful and they definitely we're naturals. They could be models:) SOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!

I love dancing:)

This week Janey and I decided to take up salsa dancing. As of right now I still love swing dancing but salsa is starting to grow on me. You definitely meet some nice and interesting people when you dance and more so when you salsa. Lets just say it's never a dull moment:) I actually had to tell one guy no that I didn't want to dance. I know that sounds rude but after being dipped and kissed on the neck I was OVER IT and there was no way I was going to let that happend again!!!! He definitely got the sideways glare of do that again and I'll kick your butt:) LOL.... Sick ok I think I'm going to throw up now:)

Really when it comes down to it, dancing to me is beyond amazing and if I could pursue a career besides photography and singing it would be dancing:) Someday soon I'll post a video of Janey and I swing dancing. We're getting really good:) One guy told me tonight that I'm one of the best swing dancers that he's ever danced with:) YAY!!!!!!!!!!! And he's really good:) hehe

I think I'm turning Domestic:) LOL.....

Last night I turned domestic and made dinner:) WOW!!!!! My family was there along with my friends Nathan and Alicia. I actually met them when I was in Junior High and we have stayed in contact through the years, which I think is amazing. Alicia is like a sister and I seriously talk to her about once a week or so. I hadn't seen Nathan for about nine months so it was nice to catch up. I bet you are all dying to hear what I made:) I made homemade salad dressing, a green salad, sauteed mushrooms, potatoes, and Zucchini:) My friend Alicia helped me slice and dice and she did a great job, thanks Alicia:) My dad made the steaks, which were so yummy!!!!!! It was so nice to eat in. I don't know about you but I get tired of eating out and crave home cooking sometimes.

Am I funny looking????

Yesterday I went walking with my friend/old roommate Amy. When we lived together we would go walking a couple times a week for about an hour or two and just talk, solve the worlds problems, you know:) Then she got engaged, married, and now she has the most beautiful baby girl. Just recently we decided that we need to start walking again and now it's not only Amy and I but beautiful little Katelyn. After hanging around Katelyn yesterday I started to think am I funny looking????? Everytime she would look at me she would start laughing. So I though I should grab a few pics of her and all of a sudden she started making faces too:) She's soooooo adorable and I'm so excited that she gets to go on our walks. Seriously, who wouldn't be excited to have this little angel along for the ride:)

Last weekend I shot with Janey and not only was the bride and groom so sweet and absolutely amazing, but the bridal party was the same way. They were totally into pictures and when Janey asked them to do something they did it with no complaints. One of the groomsmen even offered to carry one of Janey's cameras, what a gentlemen:)

This last week has been super amazing and crazy and as I sit here I think how in the world am I going to sum it up. I've been blessed with so many amazing people that bring so much joy to my life. The week started out when my good friends Amber and Nathan come out to SB. They are the cutest husband and wife team and have become two of my bestest friends:) I'm so sad they live so far away but I get to see them again in November and I can hardly wait.

After their short visit Nathan, Amber, David Jay and I drove down to LA for the PartnerCon convention. They were all speaking and at the convention so I went along to cheer them on. Wahooooo!!!!!! There were some amazing speakers at the convention, go to

After the convention we went to Gary and Melissa's engagement party. They are two of my favorite people in this world and when I'm around them I just can't help but laugh all the time. They are amazing and not afraid to be themselves.... They are soooo real which is why I love them so.

After the party Katherine drove up to SB to hang with me for a couple of days. We've been working hard and playing hard. She is so sweet and so easy to be around. She cooked for me and Janey one night and it was heavenly. WOW!!!!!! I need to take some classes from her. She leaves tomorrow and I'm sad about that but I have tons of pictures to remember the amazing time we had.

Sophia was also in town and she brought her husband and little girl to lunch as well. We all kept taking turns holding her little girl. Janey and I both agreed that just looking at her little girl made us happy. Sophia does a great job with keeping ballance in her life especially with having a little one. She needs to teach some classes to all the working moms out there:)

Sorry I haven't posted in a very long time. Things have been super crazy. Between, conventions, shooting weddings, hanging with friends/photographers, designing albums, editing (Editing images haha), oh and going to the gym, I hardly find enough time to sleep and eat:) I will start my blogging up again on Wednesday:) I definitely have lots to blog.

Kids - love them:)

I love shooting weddings for sooooo many reasons but one reason why is I love kids. I was reminded of this while second shooting for Janey on Saturday:) The kids were out of this world adorable!!!!! I kept laughing and smiling the whole time I was photographing them. They truly made my day!!!!! It was so funny because Janey Kept trying to get the youngest one to look at her while shooting and the little one would say "I'm looking at her", and she would point to me. She seriously wouldn't stop looking at me and my camera, it was hilarious.
