So excited I can't focus:)

I'm so exicted because tomorrow I head to Ontario and then on Wednesday morning I catch a super early flight out to Atlanta. My good friend Marie is getting married and she asked me to be a bridesmaid. Marie and I were actually roommates for two years while going to Brooks and became very close, so I have definitely missed her this last year and can't wait to see her. She has three days of fun planned out, which is the prefect way to plan a wedding:) After Marie's wedding I go straight to the Holritz's home. Amber is like my sister and that would make Nathan my brother in law:) YAY!!!!!! So the excitement keeps growing even more:) I also get to meet their kids Addison and Austin for the first time:) wahooooOOO!!!!!!!

In the meantime I'm finding it really hard to focus. My mind is racing and I keep thinking about how much fun my next week is going to be:) Also, for those who know me I always tend to over pack just a little. Here's a picture of what my suitcase looked like before my roommate Lisa came in and said you don't need four back shirts, 10 pairs of shoes, and four pairs of jeans:) LOL...... So I took two shirts out in front of her and then snuck one back in when she wasn't looking:) Don't tell!!!!!!!

Amazing Week:)

Wow it has been a while since I've posted:( Sorry about that.

Anyways, this week has been amazing. It made me thankful for the amazing friends that I have and made me realize that I don't get to see enough of them. Oh wait, I get to see Janey a lot but it feels like forever sometimes;) LOL :P On Tuesday Gary and Melissa came into town for Janey's birthday. For those of you who haven't met Gary, Melissa, Janey, and DJ, you are sooooo missing out. They seriously are the love of my life and they make me laugh every single minute that I am with them. I love how they just like to hang and relax. So the fun week began on Tuesday and is still going on. YAY......

On Wednesday it was Janey's birthday:) 12 of us met at Buenos Aires for dinner. It was the perfect atmosphere and the perfect company. Happy birthday girly. You are definitely a sister to me and you add so much joy in my life. I can't wait for this coming year:) BEEP! P.S. I know why you look younger then me:) It's because of all the water you drink.

Great weekend:)

So this weekend was full of laughter and fun, which was exactly what I needed. Friday - Sunday my roommates and I got to hang with my amazing parents and my cousins little boy, Koby. We went to the movies, shopping, and just relaxed. We were going to go hiking but there is a Mountain lion roaming around my parents neighbor hood so I thought staying inside might be the safest bet:) After our fun filled day on Saturday, I actually made dinner for everyone. I know, everyone is in shock, but yes I actually cooked:) After this weekend it made me realize that hanging with friends and family is the best and it makes me so thankful to have each and every one of them. My roommates are like sister and they definitely bring joy into my life (never a dull moment around our house:). It also made me realize that I like to cook and so I'm going to look into taking cooking classes:)

So now I'm in beautiful Santa Barbara and am soooo thankful to be back safe and sound.

Weekend Getaway

I'm soooo excited because right now my roommates are on their way to my parents house for a nice getaway weekend:) We are going to have so much fun and I know we all are looking forward to just relaxing. I won't be answering my e-mails this weekend so don't think I'm ignoring. If it's important then definitely give me a call:)

Amazing like always:)

Janey has to be the best traveling buddy ever:) As we were running through the airport this morning laughing like crazy and yelling back and forth is this really happening, it hit me that even if we missed our flight we would have been ok with it and probably would have fell to the ground laughing. We were so out of breath and people were looking at us like we were crazy, probably because we were running with all our camera gear on our backs. My big Tenba back pack was definitely holding me back and I wasn't able to run like normal:) I also always wear the worst shoes when I go to the airport, so as we were running my heels were making the loudest noise ever. Janey told me later that the clicking of my heels let her know that I was still behind her. haha:) Never a dull moment for us:)

Anyways, yesterday we shot the most amazing wedding in Scottsdale Arizona. All of Janey's couples are amazing and this couple was just another one to add onto the list. It was so awesome because one of Janey's couples for next April was at the wedding and their wedding is in Puerto Vallarta, and Janey is taking me to be her second shooter:) YAY.... So here are a couple of images from the wedding.

Traveling with Janey has to be the funnest thing ever. Seriously I have never laughed so hard. Probably because the most random things always happen to us and there is never a dull moment. We get these moments of laughing so hard we can hardly breathe, and we had one before our trip even started. Probably because we didn't make the first flight and had to grab another one but it was standby, which means you'll have a seat as long as the plane isn't full. Tons of people kept coming in and we gave them looks like you better be the last person on this flight:) Just kidding. So here is a shot of us before we got on our flight and we also took a group picture of all our new friends. LOL... we told them if you can't see us, we can't see you:) haha, just kidding:)

I'm so excited because tomorrow Janey and I are flying to Phoenix Arizona. I love flying and always get excited. Ok I'm weird:) I'm assisting Janey on a wedding in Scotsdale and we decided to go a little early to hang and of course work. LOL.... We also found out that David Jay is going to be in Phoenix the same time so we're gonna meet up with him tomorrow, which is always so much fun:) The three of us together is always hilarious........

Another great wedding with Janey:)

One reason why I LOVE second shooting is I get to take the close ups. I think that's why Janey and I work so well together. I know she's getting the overall shot and she knows I'm getting the head shots, close ups and details. Here are some images from the Biltmore wedding on Friday. They we're a lovely couple:)

This weekend I shot a double header with Janey and we seriously had the most amazing couples which made our weekend very enjoyable. Yesterday the couple was so friendly words can't even explain ther kindness towards us. Hannah and Doug are the perfect match and so cute together. We rode around in a golf cart with them for over an hour. Wait, maybe it was two hours????? hmmmmm, all I can say is that we had a great time with them and time flew by so fast. It was one of the longest wedding that we have ever photographed but it didn't seem like it. They even invited us to join them at their brunch this morning but we were so tired I slept in till 11:00:) I actually turned off my phone last night just in case someone tired to call me this morning. I can't remember the last time I've done that:) Anyways, here are a couple of pics from yesterday.

Dancing:) Trying somthing new:)

When I photograph a wedding I really look forward to when the music starts and everyone begins to dance. However, it takes everything in me not to dance with them but with much self control I hold myself back:) Tonight I shot another wedding with Janey and we had the most incredible bride and groom. I will post more pictures on Sunday but right now I need to back up my files and get ready to shoot another wedding with Janey tomorrow at the Bacara. I'm soooo excited because I have never shot there and I absolutely love that place. So I can't wait!!!!!! Then next week we head off to Scotsdale to shoot another wedding. It will be a mini vacation because we arrive on Thursday and leave Sunday:) I love traveling and shooting:) YAY!!!! Especially with Janey:) Sometimes I think we have way toooo much fun shooting together:)

Amazing Customer Service

As most of you know I spend most my time designing:) LOVE IT!!!! Anyways, I am finishing up some designs for Dane Sanders and so I had to e-mail Leather Craftmen in hopes that they would get back to me with my questions ASAP. To my surprise when I woke up this morning I had an e-mail waiting for me:) YAY!!! Ira, who is my rep is so on top of things because in his e-mail he asked for my address so he could send me some info and he also asked for my number so that he could call and answer my questions on the phone. I am such a phone person so by him saying that I was blown away by their customer service. I am also the kind of person that when I have a question I want it answered right away, which isn't always a good thing:( Don't worry I'm working on being patient:) Anyways. he called me twice and went above and beyond:)

He also e-mailed me some of their album covers that they have. WOWsers!!!!!!

Ok gotta run:) Off to swing dancing at SOHO's:) YAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!

This weekend my friend Curt came up to hang with me and he wanted to see my new web site. As the about amy videos we're playing he goes wow you update your blog every day. Then I thought about it. hmmmm, I use to. Then things got crazy and now I have to even find time to eat. Totally exaggerating because Curt told me this weekend that one reason he likes hanging with me is I like to eat:) LOL... WOW!!!!!!

Curt is an amazing guy who is so smart, amazing, and every conversation is very meaningful. It was sad to see him go because I truly enjoyed having dinner with him, walking to the peer, going to church, watching movies, and hiking in the rain:) He's definitely one of the most athletic, down to earth, sweetest guys I have ever met. After hanging with him for the weekend it made me want to eat healthy, workout, and get more sleep:) LOL... Seriously.........

Anyways I've been blessed with some amazing friends and Curt is definitely one of them. Come back soon!!!!!
